Dedicated Development Team for Carbyne

Our collaboration with Carbyne began in 2021, at a pivotal moment when the company was looking to scale its existing small development team in Ukraine.

Carbyne sought highly skilled engineers to expand their capabilities and strengthen their platform. They were particularly interested in tapping into the Ukrainian tech market, known for its talent and innovation.

Before working with Newxel, Carbyne faced challenges in finding developers with rare skill sets in real-time communication (RTC) technologies, especially candidates who could integrate seamlessly into their mission-critical environment.

Carbyne’s mission was clear: they needed to expand their team with highly skilled developers, QA specialists, and DevOps engineers to support their cloud-native NG911 platform. Finding the right talent proved exceptionally challenging, particularly RTC engineers, who were extremely rare in the market.

Each candidate had to be not only technically excellent but also capable of performing under demanding and high-stakes conditions. Time was of the essence, any delays in hiring or onboarding could directly slow the rollout of their critical emergency response solutions, making speed, precision, and quality equally vital.

In 2021, Carbyne partnered with Newxel to rapidly scale their Ukrainian dedicated development team. The first critical hire was a rare real-time communication (RTC) software engineer, setting the stage for targeted recruitment and demonstrating that specialized talent could be sourced even under challenging conditions.

Following this success, we expanded the team with 2 QA experts, 1 back-end developer. Despite the scarcity of RTC engineers, Newxel and Carbyne adapted to find talent, ensuring technical excellence and operational reliability.

Beyond hiring, Newxel provided full operational support, from onboarding and workplace management to IT, HR, and compliance services. This approach created a supportive environment that fostered high retention, loyalty, and productivity, while enabling Carbyne to focus on their mission-critical emergency response platform.

The outcome of the partnership was a fully integrated dedicated team in Ukraine, seamlessly embedded within Carbyne’s operations. Despite the challenging conditions, the team demonstrated high retention and loyalty, providing stability and continuity for ongoing projects. Newxel accelerated the hiring of rare technical experts, enabling Carbyne to quickly fill critical roles without compromising on quality.

With operational management, HR support, and team coordination handled externally, Carbyne was able to focus entirely on product development and the expansion of their emergency response solutions, ensuring faster delivery and sustained innovation.
