About Newxel

Newxel offers talent solutions geared toward filling engineering positions in the way that best suits the client; this can involve hiring specialists directly into the client’s team, sourcing engineers through our European hubs, or providing Employer of Record services. This applies whether the requirement is for one position or for an entire R&D centre complete with dedicated labs.

We have sold our services for nine years, achieving around $20M in revenue and operating six legal entities, with clients including Check Point, HiBob, and Renesas. Our platform can evaluate more than 1,000 candidates in less than 10 minutes, and we handle engineer recruitment and hiring ourselves.

Our agent platform, built on Google Cloud, currently hosts the business agents used in production—including candidate sourcing, CV generation, vacancy creation, policy control, and the Copilot our teams use in Slack. The next stage is to turn the platform into a product by offering client-facing services and providing agent integration for other companies.

Why this role exists

Our business already runs on AI agents. We designed each one through a long conversation with our CEO, and that doesn’t scale. We need agents for every function of the company, and next for our clients.

We are hiring the person who turns business needs into agents that work at a steady pace. You find out how a process really works, design the agent, get it built, get it accepted by the business, and build the team and the process that make this repeatable. This is more of a builder’s mandate than a caretaker’s, and the person we are looking for should recognise the difference.

What you will own

  • The agent portfolio. Every agent we run or plan, with its business owner, state and plan. Today: candidate sourcing, vacancy creation, sales signal monitoring and other sales agents, quoting, and the intake agent for our client-facing service.
  • Discovery and agent specifications. You go to the people who own and validate a process, find out how it works today with real examples, and describe how it should work. You design the agent at architecture level: which steps are code, which need a model, where a person confirms, what is kept in memory, what a run should cost. You write the specification an agent is built from without further back-and-forth, and you organise its acceptance by the business.
  • The agent factory. The process that takes a request to an agent in production and keeps it working: intake, specification, technical review with our Tech Lead, build, testing, business acceptance, release, monitoring. Templates, standards and measures for all of it. You define the profile of the people who build agents, hire them with Recruitment Operations, and lead them.
  • The R&D delivery plan. One plan across the platform (from the Tech Lead), the client-facing product (from our product scope map) and the agent portfolio, with people, dates and money, at quarterly, monthly and weekly resolution. You decide with the CEO what ships, what waits and what gets cut.
  • Rhythm. One board, a cadence that serves shipping without ceremony, and a short written report to the CEO every week.
  • Single point of contact. Every request for new agents or R&D work from sales, recruitment, marketing and operations comes through you. Production incidents go to the Tech Lead.

How you work with the CEO

The CEO drives product and technical vision at high velocity. You absorb that direction, ask the sharp questions early, translate ambition into plans the team can execute, and manage change on the ground when priorities shift.

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years in project or program management in software teams, with at least 1.5 years in LLM agents, AI automation, or ML.
  • You have designed LLM agents or AI automations at the architecture level yourself. You can read an agent’s graph and a run trace and explain why a run cost what it did.
  • Proven process discovery: you have mapped processes with the people who run them and written specifications that engineers built from without rework. Bring an example.
  • You have built a delivery function or process from zero and hired people into it.
  • You have worked with business stakeholders outside tech (sales, operations, recruitment) and closely with a technical founder, including shifting priorities without losing the team.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken.

Strong plus: an earlier career as a software engineer; recruitment, staffing or operations as a domain; work at an AI automation agency or consultancy that builds agents for clients.

Please include an example of a process map or specification you wrote, anonymised or created for this application. Do not send your employer’s confidential documents.

What we offer

A company whose business already runs on AI agents, and the mandate to build the factory that makes them. Direct work with the CEO and with the people who own the processes. The mandate to hire and lead your own team of agent builders. A competitive base salary based on your experience, and an annual bonus of up to 15% of base, tied to the agent factory’s goals.

How we work

Direct communication, written decisions, ownership. When something is unclear, we expect a proposal with a rationale, not a list of open questions. Our team works across Europe.

Process

Screening with our technical recruiter (recorded with your consent) · interviews with our Head of Recruitment Operations and our CMO · a written case · final interview with the CEO · two reference checks.
