You will own the core user interface and the modular SDKs that embed advanced media players into diverse web environments globally. The platform utilizes AI and Machine Learning to automatically analyze and transform live sports broadcasts from over 250 global leagues into personalized, short-form digital content in real time. It operates at an enterprise scale, processing media for major sports organizations to unlock new digital revenue streams and deliver instant, tailored fan experiences across the globe.
Technology Stack: The frontend ecosystem is built on React and TypeScript, leveraging Vite for fast builds and React Query for efficient server-state management. UI components are styled using Material UI (MUI) and Styled Components, while testing is automated via Playwright, Jest, and React Testing Library. The infrastructure relies on a modern CI/CD pipeline driven by YAML configurations to ensure continuous, high-performance web deployments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and scale the core React architecture responsible for processing real-time AI metadata and live sports video streams
- Architect and maintain a modular JavaScript SDK that integrates custom media players and interactive UI components into third-party web environments
- Refactor existing frontend modules to optimize video rendering performance and data synchronization workflows
- Lead implementation standards for test automation by driving the integration of Playwright across the frontend codebase
- Establish technical standards and mentor engineering peers within the cross-team Frontend Guild
What We Expect
Must-have
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience within a SaaS product environment
- Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), React, and TypeScript for building production-grade, scalable web applications
- Hands-on commercial experience managing server state using React Query
- Proven proficiency in test automation using Playwright
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical foundation
Nice to have
- Familiarity with video/image media processing and third-party media libraries
- Experience utilizing Material UI (MUI), Styled Components, and modern build tooling like Vite
- Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and YAML configuration
- Experience with Jest and React Testing Library for unit and component testing
- Foundational backend or full-stack development experience
