Project work: 6 months
We are searching for a Spare Parts Engineer (project work) to join the production of complete SBOM and Spare part information for innovative car technologies in Sweden!
Responsibilities
- Full analysis of the E/MBOM and corresponding 3D and 2D data and correct part names
- Product Development Dialogue in all aspects related to the Spare Part Engineering activities and the agreement of the final Spare Part Assortment
- SBOM structure
- Define spare parts and create SBOM content, including unique after sales parts (e.g., modified parts, exchange parts, kit, and chemicals)
- Securing the right Parts naming for Aftermarket
- Set requirements towards engineering for documentation of Service Unique Parts
- Change management process with review and analysis of change orders/requests, including management of running changes
- Recommendation and Documentation of Remanufactured Parts, Service Kits, and Required Chemicals
- Communication and Documentation for downstream stakeholders, i.e., Purchasing, Logistics, Pricing, and Commercial organizations
- Documentation of SBOM
- Deliver SBOM information to e.g., purchasing, logistics
Requirements
- Experience within aftermarket business, End-user, and/or workshop
- Working knowledge of spare parts
- Exposure to developing quality-assured spare parts solutions
- You are a Team Player with a Customer Focus and Quality mindset, who enhances Technical Learning
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Proficient in Team Center and MS Office environment
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalency of automotive experience is meritorious
Assumptions and prerequisites
- Electrical circuit drawings
- Harness specifications and drawings
- The EBOM or MBOM should always be updated with the latest information
- The EBOM or MBOM should be configured by Cevt so that it matches the production variants
- Each part number need a specification when used in production (variant conditions and occurrence effectivity)
- The EBOM or MBOM should show all ingoing parts in an assembly
