In this role, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing automated test scripts to streamline our software development process. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Playwright, and Cucumber
- Collaborate with development teams to understand system functionalities and define automation requirements
- Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts
- Identify opportunities for automation and develop strategies for implementation
- Continuously improve and optimize existing test automation frameworks
- Document automation processes and maintain clear and concise test scripts
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automation tools and technologies
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Java, Playwright, and Cucumber
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (a plus)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- A passion for automation and a desire to continuously learn and improve
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
