We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Mobile Designer to join our team and lead the design vision. This is a critical role as our partner’s mobile app’s user experience and interface are critical for user acquisition and retention. You’ll work directly with our founders to shape not just the look and feel of our product, but the entire user journey and emotional experience of our Bitcoin app.
Responsibilities
- Own the design vision creating a world-class mobile experience that makes cryptocurrency investing intuitive and engaging
- Apply behavioural psychology principles to create interfaces that build user confidence, encourage consistent investing habits, and gamify the Bitcoin accumulation journey
- Work hand-in-hand with founding team to translate business vision into tangible design systems and user flows
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system that ensures consistency while allowing for innovation
- Plan and conduct user research to validate design decisions and identify improvement opportunities
- Create data-informed design iterations that improve key metrics including user acquisition, retention, and engagement
- Partner with development team to ensure high-fidelity implementation of designs
- Proactively suggest new features and improvements based on cryptocurrency trends, user feedback, and industry best practices
Requirements
- 7+ years of UX/UI design experience with a strong focus on mobile applications
- Proven experience designing cryptocurrency or fintech applications
- In-depth understanding of behavioural psychology as it applies to financial products
- Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design skills, user-centred thinking, and systematic approach
- Experience designing products that have achieved significant user growth
- Expertise with Figma and modern design tools
- Knowledge of current design trends while maintaining a unique creative vision
- Outstanding communication skills with ability to present and defend design decisions
- Experience collaborating directly with founders and executive stakeholders
- Understanding of technical constraints and opportunities in React Native development
