Today, we are seeking a Senior Java Developer with expertise in Java, Python, and AWS to develop cutting-edge solutions and services that shape the future of connected vehicles.
You will collaborate closely with a diverse and multicultural team to deliver high-quality code, maintain services, and drive continuous improvements and innovations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain services in an AWS-based environment using Java and Python
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Business Analyst
- Coach, educate, and support team members in Python, especially those who are new to the language
- Follow DevOps practices and contribute to a strong DevOps mindset within the team
- Embrace XP techniques, including pair and mob programming, and actively participate in code reviews
- Take ownership of the entire lifecycle of services, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
- Work in a multicultural setting, fostering an inclusive and collaborative approach to your work
Requirements
- Strong expertise in AWS services, including Lambda, CloudFormation, SNS, and SQS
- Proficiency in Java (Java 8 and above)
- Experience with Python, primarily in microservices
- Previous experience in a DevOps setting
- Ability to navigate international and multicultural contexts
- Adherence to XP practices and a commitment to writing Clean Code
Will be a plus
- Experience with Clean Code practices
- Familiarity with XP (Extreme Programming)
- Previous involvement in setting direction for your own work
- Knowledge of the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) agile framework
- Ability to transfer knowledge and coach effectively as the team grows
- Interest in and willingness to experiment with new technologies
