Sweden’s world-famous car provider hires a Senior Data Engineer skilled in Databricks and PySpark.
You will work with a product that is a predictive maintenance solution for the service planning of trucks in the aftermarket. It is hosted within the Azure cloud ecosystem.
The main product purpose is to monitor and predict the wear of vehicle components.
Responsibilities
This position is on the data platform team, responsible for setting up the data pipeline. Your team will be working side-by-side with the analytics team.
- Build, test & maintain data layer & data platforms in product teams
- Develop and implement the data architecture that helps analyze and process data in the way the organization needs it
- Handle interfaces to large amounts of data effectively and create/integrate data structures suitable for analysis and deploy algorithms in performance-efficient code
- The Job can exist in two domains: Data Engineering and Machine Learning
Requirements
Hard skills:
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- 3 years of experience using Databricks
- Experience working in cloud implementations (Azure)
Soft skills:
- Naturally takes the initiative and is not afraid to be a technical leader
- Not afraid to search for answers to questions that pop up on the way
