We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Backend Developer with a strong research orientation to join our Web3 & Blockchain team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in TypeScript, exceptional research skills, and a profound understanding of blockchain technologies. In this position, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our software solutions that power the future of decentralized finance and blockchain ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development flows, including research, design, implementation, and maintenance
- Conduct in-depth research on smart contracts and blockchain applications
- Design, develop, and maintain robust blockchain data fetching flows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver high-quality software solutions
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services using TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
- Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS to deploy and scale applications
- Contribute to the architecture and design of blockchain-related systems
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to industry best practices
- Stay at the forefront of emerging trends and technologies in the blockchain and crypto space
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Web3 / Blockchain development (not necessarily smart contract development)
- Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript/Node.js
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS
- In-depth knowledge of blockchain technologies and decentralized applications (DApps)
- Exceptional research and analytical skills
- Proven ability to work independently and drive projects to completion
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent English writing and verbal skills
