As a Senior Backend Engineer you will be part of the Infrastructure team which is the backbone of the HiBob Engineering team, working on services and tools to streamline the development of featured teams. You’ll be involved in the business aspects and customer use cases and have the direct ability to bring your productivity to production in no-time.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in backend development
- Solid skills in a typed programming language (Java or Scala or Kotlin)
- Good experience with functional programming
- Experience with Microservices and REST API design
- Solid understanding of CI/CD platforms, databases, containers
- Experience with SaaS
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
- Good experience with writing tests
- Great communication skills in English
Will be a plus
- Knowledge of C#, Typescript, Go or Rust programming languages
- Experience in an infrastructure team
- Experience with public APIs, SDKs
- Experience with AWS or an equivalent cloud platform
Responsibilities
- Work on services and tools to streamline the development of HiBob Infrastructure and future teams
- Own the development cycle from technical design to deployment and monitoring
- Work in a continuous delivery environment with fully automated QA processes on a microservices architecture, deploying to production dozens of times every day
