As a Senior AI/ML Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end development of AI/ML solutions for our records management and information governance projects, both internal and customer-facing. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements, architect scalable AI and machine learning models and algorithms, and develop robust code in Python for data preprocessing, model training, and inference.
This role requires strong teamwork skills, technical expertise in AI and ML development, and the ability to work seamlessly with the existing team of back-end and front-end developers to synthesise AI/ML technologies within existing applications and deliver high-quality solutions on schedule and within budget.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in machine learning, textual analysis, and/or AI development, with a proven track record of successfully delivering AI projects from scratch
- Strong proficiency in machine learning concepts and techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP)
- Expertise in Python programming for AI development
- Solid understanding of SQL databases and query optimization techniques for managing and manipulating large datasets
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyse complex problems and develop innovative solutions
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders

Responsibilities
- Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject-matter expert on AI tools, including machine learning, large language models, and natural language processing techniques. Stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in AI/ML technology relevant to records management and information governance
- Integration and Development: Collaborate with the development team to integrate AI/ML capabilities into our existing platforms and applications. Contribute to the architecture, development and implementation of AI-driven features, ensuring seamless integration with our products
- Data Analysis: Utilize large language models or data tokenization to analyse legal citations and other textual data within databases or documents. Develop algorithms and processes to extract relevant insights and optimize information retrieval, including the suggestion of appropriate legal citations for a given record type
- Innovation and Creativity: Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to leverage AI/ML in new and unique ways within our products and services. Propose and develop proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate the value of AI-driven solutions to stakeholders
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across the organization, including product management, legal, and sales teams, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide guidance and support to ensure alignment with strategic objectives
- Technical Leadership: Guide other team members on AI/ML best practices, coding standards, and emerging technologies. Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team
