Project Manager – Time Tracking System

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead the implementation of a time-tracking system in Germany. You’ll manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources, collaborating with a Process Manager, HR and Payroll experts, IT stakeholders, and the time solution vendor. Responsibilities

Oversee the successful delivery of the project within scope, on time, within budget, and meeting required quality standards:

  • Planning and designing the project
  • Allocating resources effectively
  • Monitoring progress and resolving issues
  • Managing change (MOC) and ensuring quality assurance
  • Communicating with stakeholders and managing project dependencies
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Monitor deliverables across all project resources, supporting timely completion
  • Identify out-of-scope services and redefine time-tracking processes
  • Conduct risk assessments and manage mitigation plans
  • Coordinate test planning and execution with the project team
  • Collaborate with the IT lead to develop a comprehensive cutover plan, ensuring all critical steps are assigned and completed
  • Provide post-MTP support to the local Payroll Team during the hypercare period
  • Identify and implement process improvements, driving automation to enhance metrics
  • Improve compliance and control across processes

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Project Manager
  • Experience with time-tracking applications such as Deltek/Replicon, Kronos, Workday Time Tracking, or SAP Payroll Time
  • Prior experience in time-tracking implementations for specific countries
  • PMI certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile) are advantageous
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate on defining acceptable solutions
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and management
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Results-driven, highly independent, and proactive self-starter
  • Comfortable working in a virtual, international environment
  • Excellent presentation and business application skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel
  • Fluent in English; additional language skills are preferred as per role requirements
