We are looking for a professional Performance & Calibration Engineer for our Swedish client to strengthen the team of highly skilled engineers on a mission to reduce the environmental impact of global transportation.
The ideal candidate for this role has communication skills and a collaborative mindset, which are key competencies to ensure that global needs are considered in system development and that requirements are balanced.
Responsibilities
- Planning the necessary tests of various exhaust gas treatment systems in the engine lab in cooperation with the component engineers in the team
- Perform and supervise the planned tests
- Evaluate test results and document the work in engineering reports
- Present the conclusions to the team and the projects
- Propose solutions and, if necessary, suggest further tests to create a basis for a decision.
- Continuously review and improve the test codes
Requirements
- Good knowledge in the field of exhaust after-treatment systems and automotive catalysis
- Master of Science in Chemical or Mechanical engineering or other similar education
- Experience in emission testing, preferably on diesel engines and exhaust after-treatment systems
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and writing (Swedish and English)
- Ability to work independently but also be sociable, outgoing, and cooperative
- Ability to follow up and guide development work together with int./ext. Stakeholders
- Lead and work in global-cross-functional teams
- Networking skills
- Structuring and analytical skills
