DevOps Engineer – Part time

We are seeking a Part-Time DevOps Engineer to join our client’s team. Requirements

  • Azure Mastery: Proficient in setting up, configuring, and maintaining Azure cloud services and resources, including Azure Data Factories, Cosmos DB, and other Azure services. Knowledge of Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Azure DevOps is highly desirable
  • Identity Management: Implement and manage identity and access management using Keycloak or similar identity provider solutions. Ensure effective Single Sign-On (SSO) configurations and strong security protocols
  • Data Management: Expertise in designing, deploying, and managing data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factories. Strong understanding of data integration, transformation, and orchestration
  • Cosmos DB Expertise: Hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB, including data modelling, partitioning, and managing global distribution. Optimize database performance and cost-efficiency
  • MySQL Administration: Strong knowledge of MySQL database administration, including installation, configuration, backup, and recovery. Ensure the availability and reliability of MySQL database systems
  • Jenkins Proficiency: Configure and maintain Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD). Create and manage Jenkins pipelines to automate software builds and deployments
  • GitHub Collaboration: Expertise in managing source code repositories using GitHub. Proficient in branching strategies, pull requests, and code version control best practices

Will be a plus

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Scripting skills (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks.
  • Experience with database technologies beyond MySQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases).
  • Understanding of version control systems beyond GitHub (e.g., GitLab, Bitbucket).
  • Relevant DevOps or cloud services certifications
