Sweden’s world-famous car provider is hiring a Chief Product Development Project Manager.
The mission for this person is to cross-functionally support Product Modification and Product Change deliveries of verified & validated components, systems & functions according to agreed product performance targets.
This means that the Product Development Project Manager will:
- Interface with other Vehicle Development Teams and Technology sub-streams
- Coordinate the deliverables with the support of engineers
Responsibilities
- Ensure the complete product delivery continuously over time, including quality, cost, and performance (Product Quality/Delivery/Cost/Feature – QDCF)
- Support and communicate across organizational boundaries to safeguard the complete delivery
- Plan the right sequence of milestones and align these milestones with concerned parties in GTX
- Understand product strategy and roadmaps that affect the company in general
- Perform risk management for upcoming deliveries.
- Support the engineers in anchoring technical solutions to secure adherence to cross-functional technology strategies and platform objectives
- Plan, follow-up, and deliver several complex Products Development projects with multiple deliveries with major business impact or multi-projects grouped together, often with other project managers delivering to the program, according to agreed scope, budget, time plan, and quality
Requirements
- Several years of product development experience
- Ability to work agile
- Be a team-leading/ project manager personality and used to working in a fast-paced environment
