Our partner is looking for a professional Buyer with a senior mindset and experience within Rail and Warehousing services. If you are self-driven, motivated, and positive, to handle many simultaneous projects ongoing with complex interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Maximize the total value of ownership for your assigned commodity
- Support the development of sourcing strategy and plan for assigned commodity
- Lead/support cross-functional sourcing projects, including activities of preparation, execution, analysis, negotiation, supplier selection, and contract signing
- Work towards individual & team targets and perform administrative tasks related to the job
Requirements
- A university degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in a relevant Purchasing role and above listed sourcing activities
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Experience in logistics, warehouse management, project management, or the automotive industry is meritorious
