We are looking for a Battery Management System Team Leader (BMS) to drive quality and innovation and shape the future of an energetic industry.

Responsibilities

  • Technical, professional and disciplinary leadership of the assigned team in the areas of software, hardware and testing
  • Development of the strategic direction of the BMS department
  • Decision on the use of specific tools/applications to improve processes in development
  • Creation of project and cost planning, including resource planning in the BMS team
  • Coordination and control of the work packages and results of the development team, as well as ensuring development quality within the specified time and cost framework
  • Project-specific communication with customers and product-specific agreements with partners and suppliers
  • Product and process optimization, as well as the implementation of new processes
  • Motivational leadership and further development of teams
  • Networking the BMS department with the other departments in the company, especially with sales, project management, the battery systems engineering department and quality

Requirements

  • Completed technical studies (computer science, Electrical Engineering, mechatronics, etc.)
  • Several years of relevant professional experience as a manager in the battery industry in controlling and leading smaller teams
  • Process knowledge and experience for successful series product development (ISO26262, A-SPICE)
  • Expertise in battery management systems for lithium-ion batteries and embedded systems and control devices
  • Strong analytical and conceptual project management skills, as well as excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Experience in employee management, including the corresponding soft skills
  • Commitment, creativity and assertiveness
  • Strong awareness of costs, deadlines and quality
  • Teamwork and persuasiveness
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English skills
