Backend Software Engineer (Node.js)

Requirements

  • +2 Years experience as a Node.js Developer
  • Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks
  • Experienced with both SQL and NoSQL databases, preferably Postgres, MySQL, and MongoDB
  • Experienced in cloud-based server-side development, RESTfull API design, and data-oriented processes
  • Knowledgeable in CI/CD and build technologies: Docker, Jenkins, Git
  • Familiar with Scripting language: Python, Bash, etc.
  • Independent, analytical and problem-solving aptitude

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement server features that support CrazyLabs’s publishing capabilities and operations
  • Design and develop internal-facing processes and dashboards
  • Accountability for scalable, testable, and maintainable design and code
  • Deploy, maintain and monitor a highly available, high-scale system

Will be a plus

  • Familiar with AWS ecosystem
  • Prior experience with React.js and its workflows
  • Familiar with Java and Spring Boot stack
