We are looking for an experienced ATE System Developer to join a leading global company specializing in wireless solutions. This role involves developing automated test equipment (ATE) for RF-based products in a production environment, collaborating with R&D teams, and ensuring seamless integration of both hardware and software. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF (radio frequency) engineering, programming, and lab work.
Responsibilities
- Develop automated test equipment for RF-based products in production
- Collaborate with the R&D team to define test requirements and ensure seamless product integration
- Work on testing, integration, and fine-tuning of both hardware and software
- Analyse and troubleshoot test system issues, ensuring high reliability and accuracy
- Improve existing testing solutions, optimizing for efficiency and performance
- Document test procedures and maintain system updates to improve overall workflow
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience (skills and knowledge are more important than years of experience)
- Strong RF (radio frequency) knowledge
- Experience in programming (C++, C#, OOP, Delphi)
- Familiarity with test equipment and lab work
- Understanding of hardware, electronics, and circuit design
- Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP, UDP, GPIB, RS-232, GPIO, SDH/PDH)
- Mechanical understanding (without designing in SolidWorks)
- Complete system solution vision
- Embedded (plus)
- Database knowledge, SQL
- Digital, Analog, RF, Automation
- High mechanical skills
- Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of Orcad and Visio
