As the AI Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading the end-to-end development of AI solutions for our records management and information governance projects.
You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements, architect scalable AI models and algorithms, and develop robust code in Python for data preprocessing, model training, and inference.
This role requires strong teamwork skills, technical expertise in AI development, and the ability to work seamlessly with the existing team of back-end and front-end developers to synthesise AI technologies within existing applications, and deliver high-quality solutions on schedule and within budget.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in machine learning, textual analysis, and/or AI development, with a proven track record of successfully delivering AI projects from scratch
- Strong proficiency in machine learning concepts and techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP)
- Expertise in Python programming for AI development, with proficiency in relevant libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, e-learning, and pandas
- Solid understanding of SQL databases and query optimization techniques for managing and manipulating large datasets
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyse complex problems and develop innovative solutions
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams effectively and stakeholders

- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet project deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Responsibilities
- Technical Expertise: Serve as the primary subject-matter expert on AI tools, including large language models, natural language processing, and machine learning techniques. Stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in AI technology relevant to records management and information governance
- Integration and Development: Collaborate with the development team to integrate AI capabilities into our existing platforms and applications. Lead the architecture, development and implementation of AI-driven features, ensuring seamless integration with our products
- LLM Analysis: Utilize large language models to analyse legal citations and other textual data within our database. Develop algorithms and processes to extract relevant insights and optimize information retrieval
- Innovation and Creativity: Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to leverage AI in new and unique ways within our products and services. Propose and develop proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate the value of AI-driven solutions to stakeholders
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across the organization, including product management, legal, and sales teams, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide guidance and support to ensure alignment with strategic objectives
